All About Dance School, licensed through All About the Arts Foundation, a non-profit scholarship program, is proud to have taken over operations of this local non-profit studio began in 2014. We strive to make sure the youth of our community are able to be connected with art programs and that they have the opportunity to travel and enjoy sharing their talents. Ms McCain-Finch has taken responsibility as the Studio Director and leader for the National Grand Champion Clogging team, The Rock On Cloggers of Big Lake, ALaska.

Our studio director, Chandra McCain-Finch, began dancing in 1986 with ballet and tap classes at the Sandra Mayton School of Dance in Washington. At the age of 9, she was introduced to clogging and never looked back. For the next 15 years, she competed at Regional and National levels with groups in Oregon, Idaho, and Utah. She attended workshops and taught at Disneyland Magic Music Days, and danced on stage at Magic Mountain, and various other locations. She has been a part of Regional and National Championship Clogging teams, and won awards at the team and individual level.

In September 2013, Chandra began teaching clogging with MVD Dance in Palmer, Alaska. In January 2014, she went back to her roots and began teaching Preballet and Pretap classes as well as Youth Ballet and Yout Tap. Her love of dance shows through in her classes.

In February, 2014, with the help of her family and friends, Chandra opened a complete studio in the Big Lake area so that more children could have access to dance and the arts, and adults have a place to go for aerobics and various dance classes. An adventure 34 years in the making!
